The difference to conventional systems lies mainly in the speed of the water The high kinetic energy of the impulse shot allows the firefighter to directly penetrate the heart of the fire. The aimed attack uses less extinguishing agent and so increases the mobility of the system thus minimising the time span between the alarm call and arrival at the fire scene.
